FACIAL AND COSMETIC SURGERY

      Dr John F Schmidt brings with him over twenty years of experience in the field of plastic surgery, and sixteen years as a faculty
      member at the Yale Medical School. His undergraduate and graduate studies were performed at Queens College, he received his
      dental degree from Columbia University and his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His residencies
      were performed at the University of Alabama Medical Center and the Carraway Methodist Medical Center as well as Yale New
      Haven Hospital. Dr Schmidt served as Chief Resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital specializing primarily in cosmetic procedures.

      Dr Schmidt currently serves on staff at three medical centers: the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and
      the Hospital of Saint Raphael. He also participates as a member of a number of medical and professional associations, including
      the American Medical Association, the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Connecticut State
      Medical Society, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr Schmidt has also proudly served as director of the Hospital of
      St. Raphael Foundation, Specialty Net, and the New Haven IPA.

      In addition to his noted surgical work, Dr Schmidt has been published for his studies in liposuction and rhinoplasty,  and has
      interviewed and or made media appearances in many Connecticut outlets, including the New Haven Register, WTIC-30, WTNH-8,
      and 960 WELI-AM. With his experience and extensive background, Dr Schmidt knows that choosing a plastic surgeon can be a
