Recovery:

In general, however, it is common to expect at least a month of recovery time, with bulk of serious convalescence occurring within the first week after surgery. Suring the first week, the patient will experience aches, fatigue, bruising, discoloration, and will need rest and respite from any arduous activities. By the end of the first week, Dr Schmidt will remove any nasal packing, stitches, and dressings, and the typical patient will be able to return to work. The remaining weeks will witness the patient being slowly able to resume more vigorous activities, such as exercise, and the gradual fading away of most signs of the operation.
